Waiting for the UPS man

At least I assume it's a man. Maybe I have a UPS woman. See, since we've lived in this house I've never gotten anything through UPS, so I have no idea who delivers it, or what time they might come.

Today is a very special day, as my recently ordered Babe spinning wheel is supposed to be arriving (yay!!). I absolutely cannot wait to get in and start using it. I chose a Babe wheel mostly because it is the most inexpensive brand available, but also because many have sung its praises. I also like the fact that they are produced and manufactured partly by disabled workers.

I've been busy dying roving so that I will be ready to go:



Milo(Kitty #2) got a hold of one piece last night and totally annihilated it, but otherwise I really like how they all turned out.

I have been steadily adding dyed and spun yarns to http://www.llbsupplies.etsy.com over the last week or two. Currently I have one handspun to offer, "Ruby Sherbet Twist"

Shop 2.0

So, I did decide to sell yarns from my 2nd Etsy shop, LLB Supplies. It just makes sense to keep supplies in one place and crafted items in another. Currently I am in the process of adding new skeins and moving others from LindsayLuu, so be patient, and check both of them out!

This is what I've been working on ALL week. So far about half of it is listed in the shop. I can't decide if/when I should start up a new shop just dedicated to yarn. When I opened up my supplies shop I got confused. So I think I'll wait.

Blue Fingers

They are blue because I'm just not careful enough with the acid dyes :)

I dyed a few more skeins today, including some of my handspun. I'm so impatient waiting for them to dry though. The best part is re-skeining them to see how the colors mix.
